“We are delighted with the way that EXPO and SellPoint have come together to present what owners say about Seagate’s innovative new products directly on the product pages of our retail partners,” said Cristina Martinez, Marketing Manager with Seagate. “Seeing real users of our products tell their stories adds a unique and positive dimension to the shopping experience.”
In a release EXPO President Bill Hildebolt said, “Manufacturers have recognized how compelling our video reviews are. So it’s not surprising they now want to see that content distributed as widely as possible. Efficient syndication of content to retailers is an ongoing challenge and SellPoint’s leadership in this area made the partnership a no-brainer.”
SellPoint CEO Rick Martin pointed out that consumers are increasingly expecting an engaging and informative experience when shopping online and SellPoint delivers rich media content that drives sales conversions and visitor satisfaction. He added that EXPO’s content is a compelling addition to the shopping experience as it features real people giving honest opinions in a compelling format.
The company creates content in-house for its clients or in partnership with a client’s creative agency. The partnership with EXPO allows it to integrate incremental third party content into the platform besides maintaining creativity as well as technical integrity.
Official sources added that manufacturers should have relationship with both EXPO and SellPoint to leverage the program features. The companies are striving to simplify service integration making it easy for new clients.
