Brainshark Inc., specializing in online and mobile video presentations, announced that its Brainshark App is available for a free download on Google’s (News
- Alert) Android Market.
In a release Brainshark (News - Alert) CEO Joe Gustafson said, “We’re pleased to make this app available – providing an improved and interactive experience for the large and growing population of Android (News - Alert) users. As individuals increasingly access their content on-the-go and businesses support a variety of mobile initiatives, Brainshark helps ensure that content is engaging, effective and easy to access.”
According to company sources this application offers an interactive experience for users when they view Brainshark video presentations on Android-based smartphones and tablets.
Nowadays most businesses want to engage with mobile audiences and want to deliver high-impact business presentations instantly and easily to viewers equipped with any type of mobile device.

Brainshark presentations serve the purpose as it combines voice, slides, and video clips which can be automatically optimized for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch), BlackBerry, HP webOS, Windows Phone (News - Alert) 7 and Android-based devices.
Company sources revealed that the Brainshark App offers enhanced browsing and viewing experience on Android phones and tablets. Gartner Inc. analysts forecast that the Android will become the most popular operating system for smartphones and will attain a share of 49.2 percent of the smartphone market in 2012.
“In order to be truly effective, content must not only be engaging, but easy to find, view and share on smartphones and tablets. Making content easily available on the variety of popular mobile operating systems is important – enabling users to conveniently consume presentations and other business content,” added Pray.
Officials added that Brainshark enterprise customers and free myBrainshark.com users will be able to make their presentations available on Android-based devices and other mobile platforms free of cost. Also Brainshark Enhanced Mobile gives companies access to detailed tracking information besides enabling them to see how mobile viewers are engaging with their content.
Brainshark announced recently that it has joined the Marketing Cloud, a consortium of cloud-based marketing services providers that helps organizations streamline and improve their marketing programs and drive demand.
