The EEVA awards program is designed to highlight organizations and industry thought leaders that demonstrate innovation in the use of online video to improve business processes, reduce costs, generate revenues and expand reach to new audiences. The goal of the Excellence in Enterprise Video Awards program is to find award candidates demonstrating thought leadership and achieving impressive results with their online video deployments. Criteria for evaluation of nominees include:
- Demonstrated business impact of video within their organization,
- Measureable results achieved from enhanced operational efficiencies or business improvements,
- Success in monetizing online video through means such as advertising revenues, pay-per-view programs, subscription services or other approaches,
- Uniqueness of video applications deployed and creativity used in the process,
- Thought leadership demonstrated by the implementation of online video in innovative or ground-breaking ways.
The 2012 EEVA awards program builds upon the success of the 2009, 2010 & 2011 Excellence in Enterprise Video Awards, which recognized the innovation and thought leadership displayed by a range of companies and industry sectors. Previous EEVA award winners include some of the best known companies in the world, including Barnes & Noble, Bausch & Lomb, Intel, Sprint, General Motors, Morningstar, Safeway and Wells Fargo.

Nomination and Evaluation Process
To submit a nomination of a company you believe is truly demonstrating excellence and thought leadership in their use of online video for driving tangible business results, you can fill out the online nomination form with the company name, a brief description of the application or use of online video to be considered, and the contact information for the person at the nominated organization to be contacted to begin the evaluation process.
A research analyst from Interactive Media Strategies (IMS) will arrange an initial telephone call with the nominee to discuss the details of the interview and the evaluation process, the key criteria to be evaluated and publishing guidelines for information shared in the nomination interviews. (No information is published without nominee consent.) More conference calls may be arranged as needed to conduct more detailed discussions about the successful deployment of the video technology involved. Where feasible, IMS will produce Thought Leader Webcasts featuring on-camera interviews with key representatives of EEVA finalists and award winners for showcasing in the online video portal on Business Video.
The EEVA winners will be announced and the engraved glass awards will be presented during a reception being held in conjunction with the
Business Video Expo conference in Miami, Florida, February 1-3, 2012.
